​This course is designed for people who are involved in, or may wish to be involved in, being a mentor. The course is also suitable for anyone who is a mentor but feels in need of a refresher on modern mentoring.

​We will cover the following topics:
  • Purpose and Principles of Mentoring
  • Types of Mentor.
  • Mentor skill model highlighting Core & Essential skills.
  • The mentoring journey and the 4 mentoring stages.
  • Barriers to being an effective Mentor.
  • Introduction to typical documents.​

Note - Our remote courses are similar to a normal classroom course which has a set time/date, however you will attend via an online portal. You will be lead by a tutor, asked to participate in answering questions and providing information in order to complete the course.
